My art is an extension of myself, my heritage, and culture. Hello and greetings to whomever is visiting, whether I met you at a show, the Santa Fe Plaza or you so happen to find my site. My name is Alexander R. Youvella Jr AKA “AJ”, and I’ve been an artist almost all my life, in many ways but more so in 2D. I come from Tesuque Pueblo and the Hopi nation. I also come from a long line of artists on both sides of my family. So as a result I practice in various mediums and styles such as acrylic, watercolor, graphite, and so on. As I continue to live and grow, so does my art.
